Character Study: Maw Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush February 2009
One of my first 3D characters, Maw is still one of my favorites. The sketch Maw is based on I did years ago, but he as always stuck with me. The geometry was created in Maya and then brought into ZBrush to generate the normal map. Textures were created in Photoshop. This is an older piece and I feel I have grown quite a bit since I created Maw, but critiques are always welcome.
